Ches's Famous Fish & Chips

CPA Newfoundland & Labrador East

When Ches’s approached Amethyst Digital, its social media had become stagnant and the business was preparing for a major milestone: its 75th anniversary.

What began as a need to rebuild its online presence quickly grew into a broader marketing partnership spanning social media, campaigns, signage, branding and strategic guidance. Today, I am spearheading Ches’s 75th anniversary campaign, sharing the story of one of Newfoundland and Labrador’s most enduring family businesses through its history, family, employees and the community that made it a cultural staple.

My work with CPA Newfoundland and Labrador East began with graphic design and social media, but quickly grew into a much broader marketing and communications role.

Today, I support the league across recruitment campaigns, social media, email communications, award design and live streaming for major events. I have become a trusted creative partner the league can turn to whenever it needs help communicating an idea, promoting an initiative or bringing something new to life.

West Side Charlies - Village Mall

The Office to Advance Women Apprentices NL

West Side Charlie’s Village Mall initially needed graphic design support to promote its events on social media. While event graphics remain an important part of my work, the relationship has expanded to include social media content, event photography, creative consultation and a complete redesign of the location’s menu.

It is another example of a partnership that evolves naturally, allowing me to step in wherever my experience and creative toolkit can add the most value.

The Office to Advance Women Apprentices first hired me to vectorize several branded assets. That initial assignment later led to a much larger project: developing and producing Building Change, a six-episode podcast focused on the people shaping the future of skilled trades in Newfoundland and Labrador.

My role has included naming and branding the show, helping shape its format, recording and editing the audio and video, and supporting its promotion. It is a strong example of how I approach project-based work, becoming fully invested in the idea and contributing wherever needed to bring it to life.
